Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, ACTVET organizes EmiratesSkills National Competition on a yearly basis to appreciate Emirati talents, encourage and motivate them to follow a career path based on technology.
EmiratesSkills National Competition annually attracts skilled Emiratis in the technical and vocational, fields to compete as per international standards and represent the UAE internationally in competitions for skills and is in line with Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.

EmiratesSkills National Competition is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for young budding talents to challenge their peers in the chosen category and to be awarded the best in their chosen field.
It provides highly talented students and youths with an invaluable opportunity to showcase their talents and foster a competitive mindset that will inspire them to continuously enhance their abilities and strive for greater accomplishments.

are aligned with WorldSkills Competition. Winners of the EmiratesSkills National Competition are eligible to compete in WorldSkillsGCC and WorldSkills Competitions.
(Winners of the following skills will not be eligible to compete in the Global Skills Competition and the Gulf Skills Competition)
All traditional skills Creativity in media production All skills of the Emirates Technology and Innovation Competition (Khalifa University) All skills listed under the Zayed Higher Organization
The prospective competitors shall meet the following criteria:
- UAE National
- Minimum age 16 years old
- Age limit: 22 years old (born in 1999 or later)
